ABARTH DAY – JUNE 30^TH: THE OFFICIAL ‘SCORPION’ MEETING RETURNS

• Abarth Day: a day to discover the Abarth adrenaline and excitement for automotive fans at Rockingham Speedway on Saturday 30^th June
• New Abarth 124 GT and 124 Rally amongst the automotive highlights
• Track driving, hot laps, drift experience and heritage parade will enhance a high-performance day
• Exclusive ‘Scorpionship’ track event announced for 2018 to be held on Friday 29^th June

The adrenaline-fuelled Abarth 124 Rally will be among the star cars of the show when it makes its UK return at this year’s Abarth Day (30 June), at Rockingham Speedway, Northamptonshire.

The two-seater 124 Rally will offer visitors the chance of hot lap passenger rides around the high-speed track. The 300hp rally car returns to the UK after its outstanding debut rally season in Europe.

The 124 Rally will be joined at Abarth Day by the new Abarth 124 GT recently revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show. The Abarth 124 GT comes as standard with a carbon fibre roof, 17” OZ Ultra-Light alloys and Bose™.

Among the features at Abarth Day will include the opportunity to drive the 595 and 124 spider range, 124 drift experience, 595 auto test, hot lap passenger rides, static classic cars and a stunt display performed by multi world record driver Alastair Moffatt completing an intensive and exciting programme for automotive enthusiasts of every age.

Abarth Day is open to all car enthusiasts and people who are very curious to find out what all the excitement is about. This is an opportunity to test all current models from the Abarth range in a dynamic setting and acquire a real taste for the brand.

A further exciting addition for 2018 will be an exclusive ‘Scorpionship Track Event’ held on Friday 29^th June where Abarth owners can take part in track sessions in their own cars. The event starts at 2pm and will finish at 6pm with a barbeque. Only members of Abarth’s official club ‘The Scorpionship’ can attend at a cost of £79 which also includes a complimentary guest ticket and free access to Abarth Day the next day.
