The new Jeep® Compass Upland has a unique and unprecedented style. This special series features interiors made with Seaqual fabric, a second-generation material crafted with recycled waste recovered from the ocean, applied on seats, door panels, and dashboard. The new Plug-in Hybrid model is defined by bronze detailing, polished black alloy wheels, a black roof and the new signature Matter Azur paint. Plus, cutting-edge 4xe Plug-in Hybrid technology combines legendary Jeep® 4x4 capability with increased efficiency, delivering up to 30 miles of all-electric range and significantly reducing CO2 emissions. The thermal and electric engines work together to deliver a combined power of 240 HP and 270Nm of torque.​

The new e-Hybrid era

​
Jeep®’s new e-Hybrid technology is based on the combined work of two engines - the petrol-powered 1.5 T4 Turbo powertrain, delivering 130 HP through the front axle, and an electric motor integrated in the new 7-speed DCT transmission providing 48V to boost performance up to 15 kW (20 HP)* in various phases of the driving experience. The e-Hybrid system can guarantee a pure electric driving experience: it allows to drive in full electric mode with the internal combustion engine completely switched off when in low speed.​​

The vehicle can move slowly in pure electric even with the internal combustion engine switched off, by releasing the brake pedal and letting the electric motor kick in.​

E-LAUNCH

Thanks to new e-Hybrid technology, the starting of the vehicle is silent, smooth, and in pure electric mode.​
