RESEARCH GARAGE TO SUPPLY CARS FOR THE IAAF WORLD INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

The midlands based car dealership, Research Garage Group, has become the latest national supplier for the IAAF World Indoor Championships Birmingham 2018, which will be held at Arena Birmingham from the 1 to 4 March. The Group is to provide eight cars, which will be driven by volunteers, for use by the local organising committee.

With three showrooms in Nuneaton and Hinckley focusing on the leading brands: Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth and Peugeot, Research Gararge Group is also a sponsor of Coventry City FC. The cars will be provided for a period of just over two weeks and will include insurance, petrol and valeting.

Championships Director, Joan Durose, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have secured Research Garage Group as a supplier. Transport at major events is always a key factor in their success so to have eight reliable, smart and stylish cars at our disposal will contribute in no small way to the efficient running of the Championships.”

The IAAF World Indoor Championships Birmingham 2018 is jointly organised by Birmingham City Council and British Athletics on behalf of the IAAF (the International Association of Athletics Federations).

Tickets for the IAAF World Indoor Championships Birmingham 2018 are selling fast but there is currently still some limited availability for all sessions.
